RIC2Discover: because there is still a lot to discover

The trough

The robust bucket is characterized by a unique design. Lots of capacity but still a small installation size. The weighing technology on which the bucket is mounted measures very accurately.

Removing residual feed from the trough is very easy. You have the choice between manual and automatic tilting. Automatic tilting, at one push of a button, can be done per trough, multiple troughs at the same time or even the entire barn. Because of the design without sharp edges, no feed remains behind.

The trough can easily be filled with a mixer wagon, feeding robot or by hand.

Different animal sizes

In no time you can make the system ideal for all animal sizes. The system is suitable both for beef cattle and dairy cattle from 80 to 750 kg. RIC2Discover accepts ear and neck transponders both HDX and FDX-B.

Animals with or without horns, small or large, every animal can show its natural behaviour.

Lid prevents spillage

The optional lid prevents the cow from spilling feed. The design allows sufficient fresh air and light into the trough. The feed stays good and the cows feel comfortable. With one push of a button you can open the lid. One, several or all troughs at the same time.

Modular but also flexible

Regardless of the barn situation, new or existing, you can install this system. All we need is a sufficiently solid floor. The individual feeding places are linkable but can also be used stand alone. Additional options can be easily mounted afterwards. As well as the addition of extra feeding places.

Floor design

When emptying the troughs, the residual feed falls in front of this border. This makes it easy to remove the residual feed. Although we recommend this stand-up but it is not required.

Easy to keep clean

Feed spillage by a user or an animal has already been prevented as much as possible by an optimal design. However, if feed drops to the ground, it can easily be removed. Due to a design with less obstacles and sharp corners you can easily clean and keep the system clean.

Sustainable technologies

Our high quality standard is what defines us in the market. The materials and techniques we use are perfectly suited to the environment. We believe that true durability only exists if our product has the same lifespan as the rest of your barn. It is not for nothing that we call this the ‘Golden Standard’.

Control and operation

The control of the system is in the palm of your hand. Your tablet in the self-propelled mixer or your own smartphone in your pocket, an internet browser is enough.  On your mobile device you can not only operate the system but also monitor statuses. It is your choice which functionalities are assigned to an individual user.

The management software and the database with all visits and settings are running on an industrial computer. via the management network software you can change all settings and customize the system to your specific needs at that moment.
