The control of the system is in the palm of your hand. Your tablet in the self-propelled mixer or your own smartphone in your pocket, an internet browser is enough. On your mobile device you can not only operate the system but also monitor statuses. It is your choice which functionalities are assigned to an individual user.
The management software and the database with all visits and settings are running on an industrial computer. via the management network software you can change all settings and customize the system to your specific needs at that moment.
Another super nice project finished this month in the USA!
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville installed a state-of-the-art RIC2Discover system with 24 RIC feed-weigh troughs in their dairy research barn.
The university is very proud to have this equipment in the dairy barn, to be able to do individual feed intake and feed intake behavior research.

Since 2018 ACBM (Associacao Criadores Bovinos Mertolengos) in Evora Portugal, is using very successfully, a RIC system for the individual feed intake research for the performance testing of their growing animals.
Because of the increasing demand for individual animal performance data, ACBM recently increased their RIC system with 9 additional RIC2Discover feed-weigh troughs and upgraded the complete installation to the new state of the art RIC2Discover Apollo software.

The project continues!
The RIC2Discover system arrived this week at the Dairy Research farm of the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada.
The 2 containers with equipment are unloaded and brought to the dairy barn, where our excellent installation crew will start the installation work in the next few days.

Research Institute LAZBW in Aulendorf Germany installed in 2009 the first RIC system.
Due to the increasing demand for individual feed and water intake data, and the huge success with the RIC system, they have added more RIC feed-weigh and water-weigh troughs over the last 14 years.
Recently they have upgraded the RIC system to the new Apollo controller and Apollo RIC software for new and improved users interface possibilities.
At the same time LAZBW added a few new RIC2Discover feed weigh troughs, which fully integrated in complete Ric system configuration.
The new features of the RIC2Discover system, attracted the attention of LAZBW, like automatic tilting to empty the troughs automatically and the control of the system via the App on the mobile phone.
